Rob Dyrdek Biography
Robert Stanley Dyrdek was born on 28 June 1974 in Kettering, Ohio. He is son of Gene and Patty Dyrdek. He also has a sister.
Rob started participating in sports as a child and started skateboarding when he was just 11 years old. He got his first skateboard from Neil Blender who was a professional skateboarder.
At beginning of his interest in sports he admitted that he wanted to be a pro skateboarder. He said “I would sit in school and think about all the tricks I was going to do, then I’d get out of school and skate until they made me come inside.”
When he was 12 years old, he received sponsorship a company where Neil was working and started his skateboarding career.
After some time Rob and Neil left their skateboard sponsorship and started ‘Alien Workshop’ an American skateboarding company.
When Rob was 16, he decided to move to Southern California and continue his skateboarding career as a professional skateboarder.
After he moved to California he started to ride for ‘Doors Clothing’ which was then changed into DC Shoes. DC Shoes sponsored Rob Dyrdek from 1995 to January 2016.
Rob became famous after his roles in the reality shows ‘Rob & Big’, ‘Rob Dyrdek’s Fantasy Factory’ and ‘Ridiculousness’. In TV show Rob & Big, Rob made 21 Guinness World Records for skateboarding and ‘Big Black’ made 2 eating records.
He gave his voice to main character Lil Rob in his animated series Wild Grinders. He was also featured in ‘Skate’ and ‘Skate 2’ video games.
In 2008 Rob played character of Rambo in a movie Righteous Kill with Robert de Niro and Al Pacino.

After some time he proposed long time girlfriend ‘Bryiana Noelle Flores’ in Disneyland and married with her in September 2015. Currently they have two children a son named “Kodah Dash Dyrdek” and a daughter “Nala Ryan Dyrdek”.
